Welcome to the SGA Group, a privately owned recruitment business based in the City of London. 

The company was initially established in 1991, as Sharon Gay Associates Limited to supply both temporary and permanent support staff to financial firms based in the City. In these early days, the main consultants dealing with the business were Sharon Gay and Eileen Pead. Both Eileen and Sharon continue to work with the SGA Group and are extremely experienced recruiters with a wide knowledge of the City.

Over the years, the business has grown and we are now additionally involved in providing staff for a wider range of financial jobs at a more senior level and within more specialist roles. We have appointed additional consultants with appropriate knowledge and expertise in recruiting at this level so that we can provide sensible and realistic advice for both clients and candidates about a wide range of jobs within the City.

 


Due to high volumes of business and the demand for high quality senior level Stockbroking, Banking, investment and other related securities staff, Sharon Gay has expanded her team, headed up by Janis Woodward who has 25 years recruitment experience in this industry.  This expansion will enable both Sharon Gay Associates and SGA Financial to work together in providing a one-stop specialist service to both clients and candidates at all levels.

Having worked in the recruitment sector since 1973, Sharon Gay set up her own company in 1991 – Sharon Gay Associates, to supply settlements staff to Stockbroking firms. This Company gained a reputation for providing a consistently reliable and efficient service and our clients began asking if we could help with providing secretarial and other support and administrative staff. Following the growth of the provision of support staff, out clients began asking for help with recruiting staff at a more senior level and within specialist roles and we have now expanded the business to include these areas of activity as well.

All our consultants whatever their expertise and specialisation, provide a full consultative service, working in a flexible way that clearly identifies and mirrors the needs of both clients and candidates.

Since we are able to offer candidates a wide range of positions, the SGA Group consider itself to be a “one-stop” agency where our clients (many of whom have been with us since out formation in 1991) know they can call on us for help to fill most office-related positions.
